Today, Raizy remains a licensed United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Judge and Steward, traveling throughout the United States to officiate at horse shows wherever her expertise is needed.

When she isn't officiating at horse shows or competing at dog shows, Raizy enjoys writing, illustrating, and creating beautiful equine artwork inspired by her lifelong love of animals. Her passion for storytelling has led to the creation of The Adventures of Nile the Crocodile, a growing children's book series designed to inspire young readers through messages of confidence, friendship, kindness, and embracing individuality.

Raizy Goffman is a distinguished horse show judge and steward, an accomplished equine artist, and the creator of the beloved Adventures of Nile the Crocodile series.

Many years ago, Raizy began her professional journey as an elementary school teacher. During her time at the University of California, Berkeley, she wrote a story for a class assignment that would eventually become Nile the Crocodile earning the only A++ of her academic career. Decades later, that cherished story has finally made its way into the hands of young readers everywhere, carrying its timeless message of confidence, self-acceptance, and kindness.

After teaching, Raizy followed her true passion and became a Hunter/Jumper Horse Show Trainer. Together with her husband, Milt, she built and operated Camelot Riding Club in Newhall, California. For over 40 years, Raizy managed the 12-acre horse training facility, trained horses and riders, organized horse shows, and directed a popular horsemanship summer camp that inspired generations of young equestrians.

Her distinguished equestrian career includes serving as a Steward at the 1984 Olympic Games held at Santa Anita Racetrack. After selling Camelot Riding Club, Raizy continued managing horse shows at prestigious venues including the Los Angeles Equestrian Center and Earl Warren Showgrounds.
